Catch a BTS glimpse of the upcoming video for Beyonce's "Pretty Hurts," directed by Melina Matsoukas. The track in question is included on her most recent self-titled album, which is available here
"The concept behind the video is really a behind-the-scenes look into society's take on beauty," says Matsoukas. "How [beauty] doesn't bring you happiness, and it doesn't move you forward in life ... and that it's really finding yourself that brings true happiness."
No doubt. Not only is there a positive message here, the video includes a cameo from Harvey Keitel as well, which is an added bonus in our book. Stay tuned for the release.

"Pretty Hurts" is a song recorded by American singer Beyoncé for her fifth studio album, Beyoncé (2013). It impacted mainstream radio in the United States on June 10, 2014 as the fourth single from the album. The song was written by Sia Furler, Ammo and Beyoncé, while the production was handled by the latter two. "Pretty Hurts" was initially written for Katy Perry and then offered to Rihanna; as both of the artists did not record it, the song was eventually sent to Beyoncé who decided to include it on her fifth studio album that was still in development.
